‘Black Panther’ Stuntman and 3 of His Young Children Killed in Devastating Car Accident

A stuntman, best known for his work on the Black Panther and Avengers movies, has passed away alongside three of his young children.

According to WSB-TV, Taraja Ramsess and his five children were driving in Atlanta, Georgia when the vehicle Taraja was driving collided with a tractor-trailer. Taraja, his 13-year-old daughter Sundari, his 8-week-old daughter Fuji, and his 10-year-old son Kisasi passed away.

His two other daughters survived the accident after being ejected from the car but they remain hospitalized with undisclosed injuries. Taraja’s mom spoke out in an Instagram post following the death of her son and three grandchildren.

“All who knew and met him know how special Taraja was. He had a deep capacity for love and loved his children more than all,” his mom Akili wrote. “He loved his martial arts, motorcycles and all things related to filmmaking.”

“He [had] a very droll yet wicked sense of humor & yet could be as cornball corny as can be. Sundari, Sunny as she was called, also reflected that special light. Funny & loved to dance. Oh God! I can’t believe they’re gone! We are grieving and remain prayerful for my grandchildren’s recovery. Thank you to so many who have already reached out with kind words and prayers.”

It remains unclear exactly what caused the accident. According to WSB-TV, it is known that the tractor-trailer was broken down on the left lane side of the road near the Wesley Chapel Road exit.

It was Taraja’s vehicle that struck the broken-down trailer. An investigation into the crash remains ongoing.

A GoFundMe campaign has been set up for the Ramsess family to help them through this very tragic and difficult time.
