Hearts are breaking for Sandra Bullock after news of her longtime partner’s passing has been made public.
According to People, Bullock and Bryan Randall have been together since 2015. Reports revealed that Bullock and Randall first met at the beginning of the year when Randall photographed one of her son Louis’ birthday parties.
Randall was a model-turned-photographer who was beloved by so many. The news of Randall’s passing comes after his family issued a statement announcing his death.
“It is with great sadness that we share that on Aug. 5, Bryan Randall passed away peacefully after a three-year battle with ALS. Bryan chose early to keep his journey with ALS private and those of us who cared for him did our best to honor his request.”
Randall was just 57 years old. As the statement revealed, he was first diagnosed with ALS in 2020.
His family continued, writing, “We are immensely grateful to the tireless doctors who navigated the landscape of this illness with us and to the astounding nurses who became our roommates, often sacrificing their own families to be with ours.”
“At this time we ask for privacy to grieve and to come to terms with the impossibility of saying goodbye to Bryan,” the statement concluded.”
Back in 2021, Sandra Bullock called Randall the “love of my life,” while a guess on Jada Pinkett Smith’s Red Table Talk. While talking about their blended family, Bullock described it as “the best thing ever.”
Bullock adopted two children on her own prior to meeting Randall, while Randall also has a daughter from a previous relationship. Bullock went on to tell the Table that Randall “is the example that I would want my children to have.”
