It appears that Kevin Costner, who painfully separated from his long-term wife Christine Baumgartner a few months ago, may have found love again.
The singer Jewel is rumored to be dating the Yellowstone actor; the two were recently spotted together at a tennis match for the Inspiring Children Foundation on Richard Branson’s Necker Island.
According to TMZ, the pair traveled by plane to the Caribbean and spent more than a week together. This, of course, follows the controversy caused by Costner’s post-relationship legal dispute with the formerly known as Baumgartner.
It is said that Costner was taken aback when his spouse chose to initiate divorce proceedings in May of this year. That was the beginning of the end for the awful situation.
When Christine filed for divorce at the beginning of May, she cited “irreconcilable differences.” Their marriage spanned eighteen years.
“It is with great sadness that circumstances beyond Mr. Costner’s control have resulted in Mr. Costner having to participate in a dissolution of marriage action,” a statement from Costner’s representative read.
“We ask that his, Christine’s, and their kids’ privacy be respected during this difficult time.”
In 2004, Baumgartner and Costner exchanged vows. Grace, their daughter, is twelve years old, while Cayden, their brother, is fifteen, and Hayes, his brother, is fourteen.
Baumgartner and Costner argued angrily after she filed a lawsuit. According to the terms of their prenuptial agreement, the former was compelled to leave the family home, while the latter was mandated to pay $63,209 in child support per month.
Even though Costner’s journey has clearly been challenging, filled with grief, uncertainty, and a lot of hardship he could have spared, it appears like there is still hope.
According to TMZ, Jewel, a singer from the US, and Costner are romantically linked. As was previously revealed, the pair took a trip to the Caribbean, and a source claimed that “there was definitely something going on.” When they were together, they both seemed to brighten up and become flirtatious.
Jewel also made reference to Costner on social media. “It’s an incredible time, and one I use to relax, rest, and play with my son,” she added in reference to the tennis fundraiser that was hosted on Necker Island in the British Virgin Islands. This year, @kevincostnermodernwest was so gracious as to mentor our kids.
Jewel and Costner are said to have returned together per TMZ. According to a source, Jewel is “picky” and “wants a good man, and Kevin fits the bill.”
