‘I Am Deeply Saddened’ Ivanka Trump Finally Breaks Her Silence

Ivanka Trump has shared a heartfelt tribute following the death of her step-mother, Melania Trump’s mother, Amalija Knavs.

The former first daughter of the United States, shared a poignant message, noting that she is “deeply saddened” by the news of Amalija’s death.

Melania broke the news of her mother’s passing, with her husband, former President Donald Trump, sharing a message on his social media platform, where he called Amalija an “incredible woman.”
Ivanka and the entire Trump family are certainly in a state of mourning following the news of the passing of former first lady, Melania’s mother, Amalija Knavs.

The businesswoman shared in a post on social media that she was “saddened” by the septuagenarian’s death while highlighting her “strength” and “compassion.”

Ivanka wrote: “I am deeply saddened by the passing of Melania’s beloved mother, Amalija Knavs, a remarkable woman who brought immense joy and love into the lives of all around her.”
“Her spirit, strength and compassion will be profoundly missed but lives on in the hearts of all those whose lives she touched so dearly,” she continued in the tribute shared on her Instagram stories.

Ivanka concluded her eulogy by writing, “Rest in Peace, Amalija,” along with a red heart emoji.
Amalija passed away on Tuesday night while being hospitalized for an undisclosed illness. Shortly after her death, the former first lady, Melania, took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to share the sad news and pay tribute to her mother.

“It is with deep sadness that I announce the passing of my beloved mother, Amalija,” Melania wrote on the platform. She added, “Amalija Knavs was a strong woman who always carried herself with grace, warmth, and dignity.”

 

The mother-of-one also spoke on her late mother’s love for her family and promised her legacy would live on through her surviving family members.

Melania further remarked, “She was entirely devoted to her husband, daughters, grandson, and son-in-law. We will miss her beyond measure and continue to honor and love her legacy.”

Amalija leaves behind her husband, Viktor Knavs, their two daughters, Melania and Ines Knauss, and her grandson, Barron.
