Diver John Moore who is 55, saw a huge bull shark near the coast of Florida. The diver posted photos of the male predator on his Instagram page. There were various sharks swimming next to John Moore, but the diver paid attention to the bull shark. Because of the behavior of the predator the diver concluded that the predator was pregnant.

“Most likely pregnant and definitely did not miss any meal. She was a very dominant shark, confidently swimming up to me during the dive,” added John.

Bull sharks are quite lazy and swim slowly. The diet consists mainly of large invertebrates, small sharks, including other bull sharks, stingrays, other fish and dolphins. In addition, any emissions are devoured along with live prey. In some sharks, a placenta develops during pregnancy.

The placenta helps the baby shark breathe, eat and expel waste as it develops inside the mother. Bull sharks have been known to use the bump-and-bite technique to attack their prey. At birth, they are about 60 centimeters. In adulthood, the length is 1.5 – 2.5 meters. Sharks typically give birth after 11–12 months of pregnancy. The female gives birth to 3 to 13 fry. Male sharks become more aggressive towards any potential rivals, which sometimes even humans can be considered.
