Affectionately known as ‘Barbarita,’ her career spanned over five decades, with appearances in numerous classic telenovelas during Mexico’s golden era of television.

“The National Association of Actors and Actresses deeply mourns the passing of our colleague Bárbara Gómez García, ‘Barbarita Gómez,’ a member of our union.
