Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes break social media silence, make relationship Instagram official

Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes have broken their Instagram silence with matching black and white photos of Nike running shoes and a simple caption, #nycmarathon2023.

The former Good Morning America co-hosts made headlines last year when their relationship became public. At the time both were still married to other people. Robach and Holmes were taken off air and eventually departed ABC News.

In the wake of their affair both went silent on social media. Monday’s matching posts was the first time either shared a photo on Instagram since November 2022.

In summer 2022, they began a relationship while both were separated from but still legally married to their spouses. Several months later they were spotted by paparazzi holding hands and cozying up to each other.

While the two continued hosting GMA3 the week the compromising photos were published, the coworkers were pulled from their duties the following week pending an internal investigation.

Robach also deactivated her Instagram account, however she reportedly reactivated it a month later but did not post anything for nine months. Holmes also deactivated his social media accounts.
In December when their relationship became public, the two were replaced and their exit from GMA3 and ABC News was made official.

“They’re actually in love and still in touch with people who work on the show,” a source told People. “They’re not worried about not working again, but they know the dust needs to settle a bit more before they get another job. There’s still too much going on.”
Robach is still married but separated from actor Andrew Shue, while Holmes and attorney Marilee Fiebig filed for divorce in December 2022.
