Singer Aubrey O’Day, 39, has some very sad family news. The Danity Kane singer has come forward to share that she lost her unborn child via a miscarriage only two months after she debuted her cute baby bump on a red carpet event. Now, the 39-year-old has provided a family update to E! News, confirming that she has sadly lost the child she was pregnant with.
Before O’Day provided a confirmation update to the media, she told her followers on Instagram that her family plans had changed. She shared the heartbreaking news that she suffered a miscarriage, confirming what those close to her feared when she began having trouble with her pregnancy.
“I’m beyond heartbroken to announce that I’ve had a miscarriage,” she said to the E! News media outlet. “This isn’t my first pregnancy, but it is the first time I was mentally healthy and in a physically prepared place to care for another life.”
Since suffering a miscarriage after presenting her pregnancy to the world via her red carpet appearance, Aubrey O’Day revealed that she has “internalized what happened and blamed herself,” although she is most certainly not to blame for her miscarriage. These things can happen to anyone who is pregnant, even if they do everything right and follow the doctor’s orders. Fortunately, O’Day realized that she was not to blame and that “there isn’t only one seat at the table” when it comes to complicated family issues like this miscarriage.
In the wake of losing her pregnancy, O’Day is struggling to keep herself in a positive mood. She wants to approach the situation with as much positivity as possible since it is such a sad and depressing thing to happen to anyone.
“When my baby is ready, he/she will come,” the singer from San Francisco, California, said, “And forever be my grateful miracle.”
O’Day wanted to share the news about her miscarriage with her fans and followers because she hoped her situation could help someone else dealing with such loss. She figured that by sharing her news and her positive attitude despite the horrible situation, she might be able to inspire another woman who has recently gone through a miscarriage and is struggling to cope with the ordeal.
“I also want all the women out there in the world that have experienced this grief to feel all the love my soul has to offer and, more importantly, remain reminded that we are here to support each other!” she added. “So if you need someone to talk to, reach out to me on Instagram [@aubreyoday], and I will be your sounding board and someone you can confide in.”
O’Day also confirmed that she appreciates each and every mom out in the world who is trying their best for their children.
“There are also so many children who need happy and healthy homes, so being a mother and a leader will never be something we can’t all have!” O’Day added.
