Douglas shot to fame in 1976, earning an Academy Award as producer for One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest, a passio n project inherited from his father, Kirk Douglas. Over the years, he cemented his status by portraying intricate characters, notably winning a Best Actor Oscar for his role as Gordon Gekko in Wall Street.
